Maddi is a sweet little girl and she is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She would love a home where her new owners have experience with Terriers. Maddi is looking for a nice quiet home where she can relax on the sofa with her teddies and chill out in the garden. Maddi enjoys nothing more than playing with her toys, especially having a game of tuggy or chasing a squeaky ball. When she isn’t too busy playing she is quite partial to a belly rub or being made a fuss off. Maddi is a smart wee girl and can do some tricks. She can give a Hi 5, a wait, and spin.
Maddi is quite a timid dog when out on her walks and can be a little wary of strangers, however when in the house she is inquisitive and then once over the initial meeting she wants to play. She is a hit or a miss with other dogs. Some she will want to play with and others she can be quite aggressive towards. Due to this, Maddi is suited to being the only dog in the home. Maddi is best living with adults only as she has growled and snapped at a young child in her current home. Maddi still loves to go for nice daily walks, especially to the beach where she can have a run around and a wee paddle in the sea or the countryside. Ideally she is better walked where she can run about where there is less chance of bumping into another dog. She can pull sometimes when walking on a lead and has an ok recall when off lead. This would need training in her new home before she is to be let off the lead. Maddi is ok in the car however may cry a little. Maddi is happy to be left alone for a couple of hours. She may bark at first when left or when she hears a strange noise however she quickly settles. She enjoys being left with a filled Kong to keep her occupied, however she may guard these.
Maddi is full of fun and is very playful in the home. Maddi has lots of love to give and in the right home she will make a wonderful companion. Do you have space in your home for a mischievous little Terrier?
