Dog Aid Society of Scotland is a small Edinburgh based Charity established in 1956. It re-homes dogs, undertakes a variety of dog welfare matters and, through various schemes, offers veterinary support to individuals on low income throughout Scotland.
The Society is looking to strengthen its present team of Trustees by recruiting a further two Trustees to support its work with a view to increasing the number of dogs which benefit from its services.
First and foremost we are looking for individuals who would bring energy and commitment to the role and are happy to work in a team environment. Previous experience which would be of interest includes the following although none are considered to be essential if we feel the applicant can fit into the team:
An interest in dogs and dog welfare
IT and Social Media
