Harvey our cross-collie from the "H" litter is now nearly 18 months old and we love him to bits! He is one of the best behaved dogs when we are out walking - lots of people comment how envious they are of us! He has come such a long way, since the days when we had to ask for help in taming him! He is well worth all the effort, thanks. xx

Many thanks to all at Dog Aid for giving us Cracker who was the best dog ever - we took him aged 13/14 and he stayed until he died at 15/16. Despite having three legs and being blind his boundless enthusiasm for life was wonderful to behold. He taught us a lot and is sadly missed.

Hi everyone, just to say I love my new home on the farm and I know they all love me even when I have been on the muck heap!!! I love going to shows in the wagon and seeing all the animals there - one day Lucy is going to enter me in the show too as well as her cows!! I get on really well with my labrador friends I am much faster than them now though!! Miss you all x

Hi Milo (Macaroni)
My name is Murphy (Meatball). I think I am your brother...I am glad to hear that you are happy with your new family because I am too. I also have a great sister, she is 8 and her name is Karys, I have a wee brother too, his name is Ross and although he annoys me sometimes I love him too. My mum has emailed DASS with some photos so hopefully you can see them on the website soon.

hi,
just a wee note to let you know that Todd has settled nicely you would think he had been here forever. He was obviously well cared for and loved by his previous master so would like to reassure him he is happy and well and we love him dearly. He loves his long walks and spoiled home life but still attacks the hose. We are addressing the issue with other dogs and he is improving slowly

Hey there I am just wondering if Nora has settled into her new home yet?
The house is quiet without her even the short space of time we had her.
Love the cassie clan x
DASS Response: Nora has settled in wonderfully. Goes to work everyday with her new owner. She is getting bigger and has made loads of new friends at her owners work.

Big hello from Jada, now with us for almost a year. She is the sweetest, best behaved little dog who has fitted like she has always been with us. She simply adores her daily long walks, scampers around like a dog posessed, never stops-through puddles over tree stumps, through the undergrowth like a bull in a china shop !!! She loves life to the full and now has so many other pals, who come to stay and play and all this from a dog who would have preferred to be the only dog in the household!! A huge Thank You to DASS from Jada & Mum xxx

Hello Everyone, Since I have been behaving I have been allowed to use my Mum's laptop! I am having a great time in my new home that I have been in since just before Xmas. I have to very good friends named Cinnamon and Button (2 cats), their Mum, Gizmo doesn't really like me so I stay away from her. I am growing very rapidly and hope to here from my 10 brothers later. Bye for now M'n'M

We rescued Molly many years ago when she was 4. Her mummy had to go into sheltered accommodation so she came to stay with us. She has had a brilliant life, been to Kenya for three years to live with us, lived in France for 6 months and has finally been laid to rest here in Scotland. She went for the long sleep this morning and we miss her terribly already. Her best friend Mickie is mourning her but trying to deal with it by staring at the squirrels through the window.

Hi there, I was looking through the newspaper to buy a dog for my children when I noticed the DASS advert so here I am! It's a brilliant web site and the dogs look lovely. My daughters have fell in love with Chewy, he looks so cute! But they've got their hearts set on a german shepard, with a long black and tan coat. Well good luck you do a fantastic job.
