Below is a list of the shows and events the Society will be attending in the upcoming months. Everyone is welcome at the events and we would love all our supporters to come and visit us at our stall.

Christmas Raffle and Fete 2010
Now that we are approaching the latter part of the year we have started to plan our Christmas events. By mid-September, raffle tickets for the DASS 2010 Christmas draw will be available. This year we have been very lucky with receiving some wonderful prizes from many generous companies. All sales from the tickets will go towards the Society’s Food and Veterinary Treatment fund which ensures all dogs re-homed by the Society who have medical conditions receive all the care and medication they need to fulfil long happy lives. This year alone we have re-homed a dog with epilepsy, one with skin allergies, an elderly blind dog and many old dogs who are on the Society’s Old Dog Scheme. The tickets are 25p each, £2.50 for a book of 5. If you would like any raffle books please contact us at the office on 0131 668 3633.
We are appealing for any unwanted gifts in the form of toiletries, keepsakes or toys for our annual Christmas Fete. If you have any unwanted items that may be of use to us for our lucky dip we would be most grateful if you could hand them into our office at 60 Blackford Avenue, Edinburgh.
Our Christmas Fete will be held at our office on Saturday 11th December from 11am until 1pm. There will be a lucky dip, gifts and lots for your four legged friends along with lots of hot beverages and of course mince pies!! Everyone is welcome to join us.
