Dexter is suited to live with teenagers.
Live With Dogs:
Dexter could live with a well mannered female.
Live With Cats:
Dexter is a cute and friendly chap who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He has a wonderful nature and is always full of beans and ready for action! Dexter loves having lots of attention and will never say no to being made a fuss of. He is full of energy and is a bundle of fun. He is very active and enjoys going out for nice long daily walks. He loves going for different walks everyday to places such as the beach, park or the woods. Unfortunately Dexter does not have a good recall when off lead and this needs further training. He does also occasionally pull when on his lead and usually wears a harness. Dexter is always eager to learn which is great as he does require some further training and will do anything for a biscuit.
Dexter has lived with dogs before and is very friendly. He gets on well with them although he can be a little wary of dogs who bark and growl at him. Dexter is not suitable to live with cats. Dexter is happy to be left alone for short periods at a time. He is not destructive when left. The only thing he may do is bark if he heard an unfamiliar noise outside but he does settle quickly. Dexter travels well in the car and will happily jump in and out. Dexter is used to seeing neighbours children however he has never lived with them. Dexter can live in a home where any children are teenagers.
Dexter has the potential to make a wonderful companion and addition to the family. He is looking for an experience Terrier owner who understands the breed and will continue with his training. He will need a very secure garden with at least a 6 foot fence. He has become a bit of an escape artist, he can squeeze through the tiniest of holes in the fence. He would love to have company for most of the day. Dexter would be fine to live with another dog or as an only dog.
